OUR PILLARS

Here at American Mock Trial at the University of Toronto, we rely on three pillars to guide us: Access, Inclusion, and Growth. UofT's AMT team strives to ensure that all students have access to mock trial through initiatives like Trial & Error, our summer bootcamp that helps beginner mock trial students or those interested in the law develop and refine their skills. Inclusion goes hand in hand with access. UofT's AMT ensures that all students feel included. Finally, growth. As a new program, UofT's AMT team continues to strive to grow our presence and skill within the American Mock Trial Association (AMTA). Come be a part of our journey!

FIRST CANADIAN AMTA TEAM

The University of Toronto Pre-Law Student Association's AMTA teams were the first ever Canadian teams to compete in the American Mock Trial Association. Our A Team also made history as the first ever Canadian team to make it to the Opening Round Championship Series, as well as having an All-National Witness. We intend to keep breaking barriers and records as the first and longest running Canadian team to compete in AMTA.
