



JAKOB KRAMER - CO-DRICTOR
Jakob is a 3rd year student specializing in Philosophy. This will be Jakob's 3rd year in AMT and his 5th year doing Mock Trial.
As a competitor Jakob is an attorney specializing in closing arguments that make his teammates cringe.
Jakob's goals this year including: increasing funding, improving training, and making it to Nationals.
Jakob's favourite memory of AMT so far is beating everyone in Mario Kart at ORCS last year.
HUMZA KHAN - CO-DIRECTOR
Humza is a 4th year student majoring in Philosophy. As a founding member of the program this will be his 4th year with AMT, and his 6th year doing Mock Trial.
Humza competes as both a witness and lawyer who loves closing arguments.
Humza's goal this year is to get two teams to ORCS an hopefully one to Nationals.
His favourite mock memory is winning his high school tournament after years of falling just short.

ELLA ALTENA - TEAM CAPTAIN
Ella is a 3rd year student double majoring in Anthropology and Critical Equity and Solidarity Studies. This is her 2nd competing in AMT, and her 6th year competing in Mock.
Ella competes as an attorney, and enjoys adopting her "politely rude" cross examination demeanour.
This year she hopes to foster a strong bond between her teammates and get them a bid for ORCS.
Her favourite mock memory is travelling to Atlanta with her high school team to play a witness obsessed with honey mustard sauce.
Michael Marmarsh - Team Captain
Michael is a 3rd year student double majoring in Evolutionary Biology and Earth Sciences. This is Michael's 3rd year with AMT and his 6th year doing mock trial.
Michael competes as a lawyer who loves crossing expert witnesses because he enjoys suffering.
Michael's goals for the year include potentially trying to learn how to compete as a witness and working collaboratively to help everyone improve their skills so the team can strive towards higher levels of competition.
Michael's favourite mock trial memory is traveling to San Francisco with his high school mock trial team, where they fell just one ballot short of making the final round.




RORY BANFALVI - TEAM CAPTAIN & COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER
Rory is a 2nd year students double majoring in Gender Studies and Ethics, Society, and Law. This is Rory's 2nd year with AMT and her 5th year of Mock Trial.
As a competitor Rory is an All-Regional attorney for UofT.
Rory's goals for the year include making Nationals, increasing membership, and launching Trial and Error.
Rory's favourite memory of AMT is the team trip to ORCS in New Rochelle NY.

NATHAN CHING - Communications OFFICER
Nathan is an incoming 4th year student majoring in Public Policy, Criminology and Political Sciences. He competed in Canadian Mock Trial last year at UofT.
Nathan’s goal this year is to raise awareness for the American Mock Trial team through social media campaigns and making Mock Trial more accessible to UofT students.
In his spare time, Nathan enjoys all things creative, from music to photography and filmmaking. If you’re on campus, you’ll likely see Nathan biking around or studying at Robarts Commons.

JAMES WANG - FINANCE OFFICER
James is a 2nd-year student majoring in ES&L and Philosophy. This will be James’ 1st year with AMT, but this will also be his 3rd year handling treasury responsibilities.
James' goals this year include: a more efficient and achievable budget, better social events based on affordability, and securing more sponsors.
While James hasn't done Mock Trial yet he hopes it will be like Season 1 Episode 7 of the TV series Suits, one of his favourite shows.




Jasdeep is a 3rd year student majoring in Immunology. This is his 1st year on the AMT board.
Jasdeep's goal this year is to ensure the team has all it needs to make it to Nationals, while helping the board to increase outreach into the broader pre-law community.
His favourite memory of Mock Trial is surviving a 40 minute long cross and attempted impeachment on his first time on the stand as a witness.
JASDEEP SODHI - EXTERNAL LOGISTICS OFFICER
Tianna is a 2nd year student majoring Ethics, Society & Law and International Relations, and this is her 2nd year of mock trial.
Her favourite memory of the AMT team was decorating Christmas cookies with Team B.
